Prinzregent Luitpold pasture milk cheese epitomises the taste of the good old days. Baldauf Käse has created an exclusive range of cheeses for the co-operation with Prince Luitpold of Bavaria. As two family businesses with a long tradition, the two companies are underlining their love for the region and traditional craftsmanship with this collaboration.
Allgäu cheese tradition since 1862.
Originally, Martin Baldauf was a hat manufacturer until headgear went out of fashion. Martin had to reinvent himself, and so he hung his hat on the proverbial nail. In 1862, he founded the company bearing his name: a wholesale business for cheese and dairy products in Goßholz near Lindenberg in the beautiful Allgäu region.
Today we produce in our new, climate-neutral dairy in Goßholz and in the village dairy in Hopfen according to traditional recipes and with old craftsmanship
