Gebrüder Baldauf Käse – Maturing process since 1862!

The Baldauf Bros. parent company has been located in Goßholz near Lindenberg in the Allgäu region since 1862. Up to 30,000 cheeses from the Baldauf alpine dairies rest and mature here in various maturing cellars until they have acquired their unmistakably tangy flavour and are sent to delicatessens and market traders throughout Germany and to nearby foreign countries. Baldauf mountain cheeses from the Hochalpe, which are produced during the 100-day alpine summer on high alpine pastures, also receive their optimum care here. Before these very special cheeses go on sale, they have to mature for at least six months to develop their strong, full-flavoured aroma. Baldauf mountain cheeses with an age of up to 16 months are a real rarity and have special fans!

In the adjoining shop "Baldaufs Käs- und Weinkeller" you will find Baldauf cheese specialities, as well as various cheese delicacies from Switzerland, Italy, France, Greece and Spain – made from cow's, goat's and goat's milk. Yoghurt, quark, butter, fine wines and spirits round off our range. Visit Baldaufs Käskeller in Lindenberg / Goßholz and let yourself be tempted by Baldauf's cheese delicacies. Monday to Thursday from 7 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm 
Friday from 7 am - 12 pm 

We are not personally available for you on Saturday and Sunday!
